In a flash he is ready and out the door. He arrives at work, says hello to everyone and begins working immediately. Everyone calls what he does work, but to Alex it is playing. Alex decides to order a pizza and keep playing for a few more hours at work. His wife is going out with the girls so it’s not a big deal.
John is good at what he does. He’s a true professional and makes things happen. Let’s take a look at a day in the life of John.
The alarm goes off at 6 am and John opens his eyes. He worked until almost midnight, and he is bone tired. He has a long day ahead of him at the office. He gets ready as quickly as possible, thinking the whole time about what he is going to do on the weekend. He arrives at work, says hello to everyone, gets himself a cup of coffee and begins reading the morning newspaper. About 30 minutes later he starts working. He constantly looks up the clock waiting for it to be lunch time. Finally it’s noon, and he rushes off to grab lunch. At lunch John knocks back 2 beers with his tacos. He gets back to the office a little buzzed and happy. Once again he begins working and watching the clock. He is out the door 15 seconds after 5 pm. He drives home thinking about how much fun he is going to have on his weekend.
Obviously you see the differences. Alex is having a ton of fun at work and John is not. There is no way John will ever be able to keep up with Alex. The amount of fun Alex is having allows him to work with an intensity that only people who love what they do as much as Alex does, can ever hope to match. Alex is one of the best in his industry because to him his work is fun. If you want to be one of the best in your industry, get paid as much as you want, your work has to be fun for you.

He is absorbed in the task at hand – not distracted by long-term results such as fantasies of retirement or lucrative Nike endorsements.”

My name is Al but everyone calls me Namaste (pronounced Na-MAS-Stay). I’m a serial entrepreneur who is all about having fun, traveling the planet and changing the world.
The idea for this company was born during the fall of 2001. I was 24 years old and easily at the lowest point of my life. I had followed the advice of people who had taken the road-commonly-traveled. I’d gotten good grades. I’d taken some honors and AP courses. I’d gone to college. I then met people who had taken the road-less-traveled and followed their advice. I read the books, took the seminars and opened a business. The end result was at 24 years of age I owned a profitable marketing business and I wanted to eat a bullet. I’d found out the hard way that money alone really doesn’t make you happy.
After a lot of thought I realized I had no idea what to do next, so I did the only thing I could do. I looked up at the sky and said, “God, I have no idea how to get out of this mess. The following years were hard but fruitful. I learned the fundamental lessons of success, of getting paid to do what you love. I found out why fun is the secret to success. The first thing we know is whether they want to get paid to do what they love or if they are already doing what they love but are not getting paid as much as they would like.
The second thing we know is that a screener determined that they are serious about doing the work necessary to succeed.
At the end of 12 weeks we will rank each person’s participation. Our ranking system has 3 levels (bronze, silver, and gold).
If you did everything you said you would and accomplished the tasks you were assigned with flying colors, you will be placed on a gold team.
If you put in a solid effort but did not quite make it to gold, you will be placed on a sliver team.
If you put in an average effort, you will be placed on a bronze team.
If you put in less then an average effort, you are going to have to have a heart-to-heart talk with a certified Success Solved Coach. Together you will both decide what the next step for you will be.
At the end of another 12 weeks you will be ranked again. Our goal is to get the best players on the same team so they can propel each other to success.
Rather then throw a bunch of facts at you I’m just going to tell you a story. I was running a small but profitable marketing business in my early 20s. A friend of mine came to work for me.
